Upcoming meetings:

April 10 2019 – ‘Pachinko’ by Min Jin Lee

The AfterHours BookClub meets the second or middle Wednesday of every month at Serendipity Books from 7 to 8:30 pm.

The book club is open to regular clock-work attendees or occasional drop-ins alike. No sign-up is needed, no purchases are necessary, just stop by ready to discuss the latest read.

Serendipity Books provides refreshments.

At each group, the next read will be introduced. I try to make current and varied selections, with tie-in reads to the Washtenaw Reads winning selection and the Midwest Literary Walk.

Future dates and reads:

May 15, 2019 – ‘Song of Solomon’ by Toni Morrison

June 19, 2019 – ‘There, there’ by Tommy Orange

July 17, 2019 – ‘Son of Achilles’ by Madeline Miller
